We're a family of four from Australia, swapping life on a 25-acre rural property for a year of city living in beautiful Salzburg, Austria. It’s a big shift—from paddocks to public transport—and we’re starting from scratch: finding a place to live, settling into new jobs, enrolling the kids in school, learning German, and everything in between.

Our goal? To truly experience life here—not just as tourists, but as locals. Along the way, we’ll explore the best of Austria (and beyond!) and share what it's really like to live, learn, and adventure in Europe as a family.
