Villa life

We have officially moved into our new Villa at Pokolbin. What an Epic experience that move was. We packed and carried out of the house and up to the shed all our belongings but also threw out at least 3 skip bins full of rubbish and old items and clothes, so many clothes. We kept the essential house hold items but everything else went and now the four of us have our lives packed into 2 suitcases. Such a change but it’s very liberating and freeing.

The Villa is divine, it has the nicest outlook and we have a gas fireplace, King size beds, all the mod cons needed, a nice balconey with outdoor furniture a bbq and the best part is we can use all the resort facilities including the pool, spa, tennis. court, gym, its like we will have a holiday before our getaway. I keep telling the kids we are officially travellers now.

The kids are currently still going to school and we are establishing a new routine for our family.

I am really pleased with the Villa and the change of life and have purchased these fabulous dual screens that fit onto my laptop so now I no longer need my 2 x work computer screens and this set up is very compact and will be great on our travels so I can still work for home. I am able to keep my currently property management position while working overseas.

We met with mum on mother’s day and she took Bailey to Kyles house where he is going to be looked after. Daniel is struggling at present without Baileys company but I am sure over time this will soften and the excitement of what we are doing will sink in. Daniel is feeling overwhelmed with everything so I am trying to give him some re assurance that this is going to be great for our family.

Jessy is loving her new space and seems to be happy with our new home.

Ben and I are still exhausted from the move, which was just last weekend but it already feels so much calmer here and private and less to do.

Our new tenants move in on the weekend and we are so pleased that it rented for the price we wanted of $950 per week. The tenants are a business that works with the NDIS so this is a perfect fit having a business take the lease..

We only have 8 more weeks to go and we will be flying out to Austin.
