Ford Ranger is sold

We have 2 cars, a Ford Ranger and a Subaru WRX and deciding on what to do with the cars is more challenging than I thought. The simplest solution is to sell the cars but what to do in the meantime. We thought we would advertise the Ford and it would take some time to sell but the interest in the Ford was immediate and the Ford is now sold. We are now a 1 car family now so it’s lucky I work from home.

There are 2 options for the Subaru. We can sell it as well or we can keep it. What to do …….. If we sell it then we have no rego or car expenses while we are overseas but when we return we won’t have a car. Considering we are not planning on getting a car when we are in Austria (only when we take trips we are going to hire one) perhaps our reliance on a car won’t be as strong in a years time. I am leaning more and more towards selling the Subaru too but only time and a fresh decision will tell.
