Booking Flights to Salzburg

So school in Austria starts in September, so we decided to fly out after the kids finished term 2 here. (they finish July 4th 2025)  This would give us a couple of months to explore and get everything set up.

When we were looking for tickets, flights were not easy to find. We had to fly to Vienna and then get a train to Salzburg or fly 2 stops to Beijing and Frankfurt and then Salzburg. Then I found a flight that went one stop to Salzburg from Sydney to Dubbai and then Salzburg. I had always been fascinated with Dubbai and even though we wouldn’t be seeing the City it was the best choice. Tickets one way for the 4 of us were $6300. 16 hours to Dubbai and then 6 hours to Salzburg are now all booked and we leave in July.
