Daniel’s New Bed
Daniel has been so patient and understanding since we moved out of our place at Cessnock. Since then he has not had a bedroom and has either slept on a trundle or on the couch. Well now he finally has a bed and he loves it.
He found a loft bed he loved from Ikea and I did not expect it to come in sooooo many pieces. We all started working on our individual projects initially with Jessy making the stools, Ben and Daniel on the bed and I was making the umbrella stand but then it was all hands on deck to put together the bed.
It was actually a fun project arranging all the parts and working out how to put it all together after all it isn’t our first flat pack.
We also ordered a shoe rack, umbrella stand holder, a hanging wardrobe and some bar stools.
I do question myself what we are going to do with all of these items when our lease is up, but hopefully we can sign on for another 6 months but who knows so for now we are living in the moment.
There was so much cardboard packaging and I had to run around the neighbourhood and find all the bins to put it in.
3.5 hours later all the flat packed items were made and Daniel was snuggled up in his bed.
