Hallstatt in Spring - So Divine

We visited Hallstatt on a Saturday this time and in Spring and it was flourishing and full of colour and all the shops and cafes were open.

We had lunch at a cafe along the water expecting Austrian food and yet the menu was Italian. The kids loved their pizza and mum, Ben and I enjoyed some chilli prawn pasta and Schnitzels.

Highlight of the day was when we hired the paddleboat swan and took it out in the water. We were having a blast going backwards and forwards and exploring the lake while swapping drivers and taking lots of photos of the beautiful scenery.

Hallstatt is one of those places that takes your breath away with how stunning and cute and fun and adorable it is and again today I was walking around in wonder taking in the shops and all their uniqueness from wooden calved Pinocchio peppers to 1m high amethyst crystals to Hallstatt air that you can buy in a can for 10 euros (though not sure if anyone would) and a fabulous.
